OHV Grant Review
Frank Raines and La Grange Off Highway Vehicle Parks for Stanislaus County Parks and Recreation are pursuing annual operations and maintenance grants from the State Parks OHV division. You can review these grants and provide comments of support via this link. We thank you for your support. The ability to apply for and receive these grant funds help to keep these parks open and operating. Review period: March 4th – May 5th.

Woodward Reservoir
Attention boaters, in coordination with the South San Joaquin Irrigation District, all boat launches at Woodward Reservoir will be closed effective December 22, 2024, as a preventative measure to protect the reservoir from the spread of the invasive golden mussel species.

Frank Raines OHV Park is now OPEN!
The OHV Park at Frank Raines is now open and ready for adventure. With challenging trails and scenic views, it's the perfect spot for off-road enthusiasts to explore the rugged beauty of Stanislaus County.​
Administration Office Hours
Starting September 30th the hours of the Administration office will be changing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The days of operation will remain the same Monday-Friday.
Body to Water Restrictions in Place
We have received official notice from South San Joaquin Irrigation District to prohibit bodily contact with the water at Woodward Reservoir effective 9/3/24. Click here for more information.​

Woodward and Modesto Reservoirs Win
Best in Modesto had over 2,000 businesses, organizations, and individuals competing to be named in the top three spots of 247 categories. The Modesto Bee Readers voted Woodward Reservoir (GOLD) and Modesto Reservoir (SILVER) for best RV Park & Campground.

Kiwanis Youth Camp Closed
Kiwanis Youth Camp is closed until further notice.
Water Treatment Plant is Offline at Frank Raines Park Pending Repairs
Due to flood damage from recent storms the water treatment plant at Frank Raines Park is offline pending repairs. The date of repairs and anticipated return to service of the water plant is unknown at this time. If you have a reservation while this message is posted you most likely will not have water service during your stay. We will update with additional info as it becomes available.
